Pricing
The fee for boarding care in my home is $1.25 an hour. You provide food and any other necessary supplies such as bedding, grooming tools, food dishes, etc.
For exclusive boarding (your dog only), if my boarding schedule allows, I charge $75 a day. You provide food and any other necessary supplies such as bedding, grooming tools, food dishes, etc. Normally, in a non-exclusive situation there may be up to six small or four large dogs staying in my home on any given day. During peak boarding seasons (July/August, Spring Break and the Christmas Holidays) I may take up to seven boarders.
Boarding fees are calculated on a 24-hour basis; any boarding in excess of a 24-hour period will be billed at $1.25 an hour per pet. Your 24-hour period begins when your pet(s) arrives at my home or at the time of pick-up. Normal hours for pick-up or drop-off are 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM, however, I will always do my best to work around your schedule regardless of the hour. My fee schedule is geared for long term boarding. I do not normally provide day care service.
Services include:
- Day boarding is only available in my home as preparation for a subsequent longer boarding stay. If space is available my clients sometimes like to start with a partial day and then an overnight stay before they board their pet for a longer period of time.
- During long term 24-hour boarding in my home dogs have monitored access to the outdoors in my fenced yard at least every few hours.
- At your request I will send email reports to you while you are away to let you know how your pet is doing.
- Regular on-leash walks, weather permitting
