is likely a Yorkshire Terrier and Maltese cross. She is a rescue dog and probably came from a puppy mill because her vocal chords had been surgically altered so she couldn't bark. It nearly broke our hearts. But whatever hardships she may have suffered in earlier life did not prevent her from being one of the sweetest little dogs we've met.
